This project was inspired by a familiar seating device found in Central Park during the summer. Combining innovative design with unbeatable comfort, the Inflatable Lounger by An Otter Nap transforms relaxation. This thoughtfully designed product offers the perfect blend of convenience and functionality for any lounging need. However, enhancing features like texture, transparency, and dimension was necessary to make the product more visually attractive and engaging.

Using Cinema4D, I 3D modeled and animated the following scenes, incorporating a variety of materials and effects. The outer transparent plastic texture reveals an inner pink plastic, while a hair simulation creates dynamic interactions between hairs and gravity, offering a more lifelike fur effect. I increased the subdivisions to achieve a smoother inflated shape and added a reflective water material on plain fields to simulate water during collisions.

I decided to use a pastel HDRI lighting, and wrap it in a dome light, for a soft, cohesive look. For the camera, I placed it on a circular spline and have it falling forward about 30 degrees. Finally, by positioning the camera at the same spot at the start and end of keyframing a camera loop is formed.
